KANYAKUMARI FALLS TOURS
THIRUPARAPPU FALLS
Thirparappu Waterfalls lies close to the village Kulasekaram which was ruled by kings. Thirparappu waterfall starts from the Kodayar River and this riverbed is about 300 meters length. The water pours down from the height of nearly 50 feet and water flows this fall about seven months in a year.
ULLAKARVI FALLS
Ullakarvi falls is about 35 km from Kanyakumari town and about 17 km from Nagercoil town, near Azhakiyapandiapuram village. The falls is up in the middle of forested hills which is accessible only by foot from the base of the hills. There are two falls - the lower falls, which is a good picnic spot, and the higher falls, which is further uphill. The water is basically spring water, coming in as a stream up from the hills nearby.
ARUVIKKARAI FALLS
Aruvikkarai is a small town in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Ponmani is situated in the east, Thirparappu in the north-east and Arumanai in the north-west. It lies near Thiruvattar, which is about 50 km from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thengapattinam, and Thriparappu Waterfalls are nearby tourist spots.
